A customer of mine was kind enough to contact me after her wedding and send me a link to her wedding photos on-line. There's an adorable photo of her nephew with the ring bearer's pillow that I made. There's also a close up photo of the pillow with the rings tied in place. I feel so honored that a creation of mine was chosen to be part of this bride and groom's special day. Take a peek if you have a moment... the link is to Acromatico Photography's sight.

WOW
I can't believe this. By Your Hands featured my shop on their blog. What an amazing honor for me! They showed my wedding items. Check out the blog if you get a chance. They do such a good job with their blog - there's a lot of great stuff there and it's up to date, unlike mine. LOL!!

Here's a new design. I have a trio of wooden sheep. They each have a felt heart applique in americana colors. These sheep can be set in a row or stacked. You can show the heart side or the plain side. I think these guys are so cute. And they're textured - that's my favorite part about them. They're for sale in my Etsy shop.

Monday Market Place
Good Monday morning to all. I have spent the last week in Florida with my family on a "Make-a-Wish" trip for my youngest daughter. The weather was wonderful and makes me long for spring here in the northeast. The daffodils are peeking out of the ground, but we're not quite there yet. I even heard that PA had snow while we were gone! Thank goodness there wasn't any when we returned. Come on groundhog - make good on your prediction!
While I was gone, there were some additions to the Farmhouse. Please take a moment and check out the wonderful shops. You'll find fabulous prims, soaps, candles, wooden totes, folkart and much more!

Monday Market Place
Hey there. The ground hog said we'd have an early spring and so far it's lookin' pretty good. Up here in the Poconos we're getting lots of rain and it's washing away all the dirty snow. We've had temps in the 50s and I saw a bunch of robin red-breasts in the field next to the local B&B. My hubby even noticed that our day lilies are coming up. I'm ready....let's go....

Here's a sneak-peak at one of my sister's paintings.
STROKES OF FANCY - give it a look see. :)

About Me
- Maria
- I love crafting! I have been making things as long as I can remember. My mother is very creative and that's probably where I got it from. I can remember from a very early age picking up beads off her bedroom floor that she had dropped from her project and trying to make something with them. My mother is also an expert seamstress and taught me to sew. My ethnic culture is rich with embroidery, ceramics, beadwork and woodwork. Crafting was all around me as I was growing up. My twin sister is a fantastic painter and if she allows me, I will post some photos of her work. I have a degree in Computer Science from the University of MD, but computers are not my passion - crafting is. If I could do it all over again, I would study something artsy fartsy! I have been selling on Etsy since Nov of 2009 and I absolutely love it! My shop has all kinds of wonderful creations mostly from wood or felt. I am a proud member of an Etsy team called the Old Farmhouse Gathering - a great team of crafters.
